FTTC – How it Works

FTTC is broadband delivered by fibre to the cabinet (green box in the roads) and by copper cable from the cabinet to the business premises. Requires a Phone Line to operate this service on.

As the service is partially delivered over copper cables, the download speeds are affected the further away you are from the BT Cabinet.
